The Invincible IOTA Chapter

IOTA's home is Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Its story starts with a trip to the University of Pennsylvania.

A group of Rutgers students went to the university now home to La Unidad Latina's Delta Chapter to attend a program called Colors. Moved by its principles, they wanted to bring it to their own campus. They learned that La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc., coordinated the program, and they set out to bring both the program and the fraternity to Rutgers.

The chapter began in 1991 with five determined individuals known as the Apostles of the Apocalypse. They brought the fraternity to Rutgers and to New Jersey, which is why IOTA calls itself the Motherland of Jersey Lambdas.

Today the chapter leads through academics, culture, brotherhood and service, on campus and in the surrounding community.

The Creation of Fight Knight

Fight Knight was established to unite Greek-letter organizations from across the country through a shared passion for competition, brotherhood and community.

Beyond the competition, the event serves as a fundraising initiative supporting our national philanthropy, P.A.T.H.E. (Providing Access To Higher Education).

Each year, Fight Knight brings together new and returning teams for an opportunity to compete for one of the East Coast's most coveted titles: Fight Knight Champion, along with the prestigious championship belt. The winning sorority and winning fraternity each take home $750.
