Competition With a Purpose
Raising money to support access to higher education
Connecting Fight Knight to Service
Fight Knight is a fundraising initiative supporting our national philanthropy, P.A.T.H.E. (Providing Access To Higher Education).
The event raised $2,000 in 2025 and again in 2026.
To support P.A.T.H.E., we partner with the New Brunswick Education Foundation (NBEF), which has awarded more than $1.1 million in scholarships since 2007. In partnership with NBEF, we give away a scholarship to a graduating New Brunswick high school student.

Providing Access To Higher Education
P.A.T.H.E. is La Unidad Latina's college-focused initiative. It supports middle and high school students on their way to graduating from a four-year college.
Hermanos give students social, educational and emotional support, and work with local schools and organizations to reach them.
- Mentoring future scholars
- College and university tours
- P.A.T.H.E. workshops
- Advocating for a better educational system
P.A.T.H.E. University
High school students attend three consecutive Saturday course sessions at a university. Faculty and Hermanos teach demo classes to help students prepare for the schools they choose.
P.A.T.H.E. Preparatory Program
Middle and high school students get ongoing support. Chapters can serve as Hermano advisors in a classroom or after-school program, or host a university tour for local students.
